![]() A few examples among many who followed blitzscaling. That's exactly what Reid Hoffman did with LinkedIn, Brian Chesky did with Airbnb and Pony Ma did with Tencent. ![]() (As long as your company is not " Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei" a.k.a " The Nazi Party", you might just win this war). That pretty much summarizes Blitzscaling, just replace enemy lines with the market, enemy being the competitor and Germans being your company. These operations capitalized on surprise penetrations of enemy lines, enemy being unprepared and their inability to match the pace of the German attack. Haven't our schools and movies always taught us - "Haste makes waste","go for the marathon, not the sprint" & "slow and steady wins the race." But I wanted to understand the opposite perspective and that's why i chose this book. The concept of a lighting fast path to building massively valuable companies not only seemed like a bad idea but also put a negative bias in my mind just as I read the title of the book. I chose, "Blitzscaling - The Lightning Fast Path to Building Massively Valuable Companies." I was born and brought up in a family with a conventional trading business in Mumbai. Recently as a part of an assignment, I had to read and review a book.
